Virtual Reality System for Freight Wagon Repairs
The Virtual Reality Simulator System aims to reduce the likelihood of accidents resulting from freight wagon inspections through the use of virtual reality technology. This system is designed to train and enhance the skills of personnel at the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways in the technical inspection of freight wagons. It includes 24 training and evaluation stages and features two simulated environments: an inspection post room and the outdoor area of Mashhad Railway, both offering a 360-degree view with the option to select day or night mode. Users can choose specific operations and respond to anticipated conditions and hazards in the simulated environment. Additionally, the project benefits from an audio and text assistant to guide users.
